Return Policy
We will accept returns if the item that we sent you is
a: Not the item that you ordered on the site
b: Damaged in transit
c: The item is faulty
Please email us (info@prehistoricsounds.com.au) or call us (0402 206 701) prior to sending items back.
If the issue relates to these three reasons we will pay the return postage and send you a postage label.
If you have changed your mind we will accept returns on unopened, unused LPs, but the buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs and only the product cost will be refunded.

Claims after 30 days will not be accepted.
Refunds can be either store credit or funds in the original way they were paid.

COVID-19 Update (MAY 2020)
For overseas customers, please be aware there are significant delays to deliveries by DHL due to shortage of flights to and from Australia. 8 weeks is not an unusual timeframe for delivery at the moment. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Within Australia
CD / 7" shipped Australia Post to Australia Up to 250g (no tracking) - $5.00 AUD
CD / 7" shipped Australia Post to Australia Up to 500g (with tracking) - $10.00 AUD
12" shipped Australia Post (with tracking / under 500g) to Australia - $9.15 AUD (Typically 1 LP)
12" shipped Australia Post (with tracking / over 500g but under 1kg) to Australia $12.50 AUD (Typically 1-3 LPs)
12" shipped Australia Post (with tracking / over 1kg up to 5Kg) to Australia - $15.75 AUD (3 or more LPs)
Overseas
Let's face it, shipping from Australia is not cheap. From May 2020 we now only offer international services with Australia Post.
In some instances, CD's can be shipped without jewel cases for cheaper freight costs.
If your country is not listed please ask for a price for shipping.
No shipping to Italy, Russia, Brazil or African continent due to previous issues. Sorry.
We take no responsibility for paying any associated customs/import fees or taxes for orders sent to you. Please don't ask to adjust values for customs purposes.
We will send records outside the sleeve if it is not sealed to avoid seam splits. If the LP is sealed we will send "as is" but you can request for us to unseal the LP and send it outside the sleeve.
Please note: some premium pressed LP's (that typically weigh more than 500g when packaged) like 180g pressings, mobile high fidelity, double or triple LPs, heavyweight vinyl in multi-fold covers, may have posters or art prints. These will possibly weigh more than 500g once packaged so may cost more to post, if you are unsure of the title you are ordering please ask and I can provide a postage estimate.
